Job summary

Port Angeles Composite LLC is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to provide friendly, knowledgeable technical support to PAC staff and help maintain server infrastructure. This full-time, in-person role collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

You will resolve Help Desk issues, manage Windows servers and Active Directory, oversee Microsoft 365 and backups, and participate in data collection and process development to optimize

Qualifications

• 3-5 years IT administration experience including Windows Server, AD, M365, networking, backups.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and applications problems across Windows platforms.
• Proactive, independent worker with good instruction-following and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Help Desk reports and provide first-level user support for hardware, software, and applications.
• Install and manage Windows Server Domain hardware and software.
• Escalate issues per PAC procedures and follow established guidelines.
• Troubleshoot printers and scanners and related drivers/software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and operations.
• Maintain server infrastructure and assist with ongoing IT projects.

Full Time - In Person $25 - $31/Hour DOE

I.T. Systems Administrator will provide friendly, knowledgeable technical support to PAC staff and assist in maintaining server infrastructure.

This position works closely with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Systems Administrator Duties and Responsibilities:

• Resolve computer support problems reported to Help Desk
• Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software and applications problems. Resolve as many user-reported problems as expertise permits using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases.
• Install hardware and software on a Windows Server Domain.
• Uses advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Escalate problems as appropriate following PAC procedures.
• Solve problems on Windows platforms with proficiency.
• Resolve and troubleshoot Printer & Scanner drivers / software.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of information technology and Microsoft products
• Ability to work with all types of personalities.
• 3-5 years of IT administration experience; windows server, active directory, Microsoft 365, networking, backup/recovery, advanced troubleshooting.
• Ability to take instruction constructively.
• Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve problems.

Working Conditions:

This position includes a combination of office and production-related work.

Approximately 70% office-based work, including data input, analysis, and process development.

Approximately 30% work supporting production, including data collection and process improvement activities.

Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the facility.
