Job summary

Terrestris, LLC in Washington, DC seeks an IT Support Specialist (Tester) to validate Windows-based endpoints for the IRS CI contract. You will maintain test environments, execute plans, document results, and support imaging, automation, and lifecycle-management activities to ensure readiness before deployment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in Windows endpoint testing, MECM/Intune experience, PowerShell, and strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in enterprise endpoint management or desktop testing in Windows.
• Experience with MECM, Intune, Group Policy, and PowerShell.
• Experience with application compatibility testing and documenting results.
• On-site work 9-5 ET; ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Execute structured validation and testing within the enterprise endpoint test environment.
• Support configuration and lifecycle management of endpoints, software, hardware, and test environments.
• Analyze, develop, implement, and maintain imaging methodologies and lifecycle-management solutions.
• Support automated image tracking and integration of new hardware into image lifecycles.
• Analyze, develop, implement, and maintain automated testing methodologies and solutions.
• Maintain test environments daily and gather requirements from stakeholders.
• Review and update test plans and related documentation.
• Perform testing of hardware and software changes using agile/CD approaches.
• Validate endpoint deployments across multiple configurations and networks.
• Identify defects, document results, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide management reporting on test execution and readiness.
• Support processes and documentation per IRS-CI/STIG requirements.
