Responsibilities

• Safely disconnect, label, and move computers, monitors, printers, and IT equipment.
• Assist with unpacking, setup, and re-connecting equipment at the new facility.
• Organize cables and hardware for proper installation and documentation.
• Help with equipment inventory and tracking during relocation.
• Test equipment after installation to ensure proper functionality.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and technical assistance to employees.
• Troubleshoot computers, printers, and network connections.
• Assist with user accounts, password resets, and access management as needed.
• Support routine system maintenance and software updates.
• Identify more complex issues and escalate to IT as appropriate.
• Help maintain daily IT operations and minimize relocation disruptions.

Cardinal Staffing is immediately hiring IT Support Technicians for a temporary project in Toledo, OH. We are seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented IT Support Technician to assist with the relocation of IT equipment and provide general technical support to ensure minimal disruption to daily operations. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with computer hardware, basic troubleshooting, and IT equipment setup. Additional experience with network troubleshooting, user account management, and system maintenance is preferred. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All employees are offered competitive compensation ($25/hour) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include 1st Shift, Monday–Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely disconnect, label, organize, pack, and transport computers, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist with unpacking, reconnecting, and setting up equipment at the new facility.
• Organize cables, peripherals, and hardware to ensure proper installation.
• Assist with equipment inventory and tracking throughout the relocation process.
• Test equipment after installation to ensure proper functionality.
• Provide basic troubleshooting
• Provide basic technical assistance to employees experiencing hardware, software, or connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot computers, printers, and network connections.
• Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access management as authorized.
• Assist with routine system maintenance and software updates.
• Identify and isolate more complex technical issues to the appropriate IT personnel.
• Help maintain daily IT operations and minimize disruptions throughout the relocation.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in IT support, computer hardware installation, or a related technical role preferred.
• Working knowledge of desktop computers, monitors, printers, and peripheral equipment.
• Understanding of computer networks, operating systems, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Ability to disconnect, reconnect, and configure standard office technology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with an IT team.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive equipment and confidential information appropriately.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move computer equipment and related materials, with assistance or appropriate moving equipment as needed.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with disconnecting, packing, moving, and reinstalling IT equipment.
