Job summary

Coconino County is hiring for a temporary IT support role based in Flagstaff. The position is in-office, 19 hours per week, and ends 12/31/2026. A CJIS fingerprint and background clearance must be completed within 90 days of employment and maintained during tenure.

Key duties include providing telephone, remote, and in-person technology support to County staff, creating and updating tickets, and assisting with the setup and deployment of computers and peripherals according to IT procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year of experience in the computer technical support field or equivalent.
• Provides telephone, remote, and in-person technology support to County employees with professional, customer-focused service.
• Creates and updates support tickets, documents work, and escalates issues to IT staff as needed.
• CJIS fingerprint background clearance must be obtained within 90 days of employment and maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities
