Job description

Beehive Industries is dedicated to Powering American Defense by revolutionizing the design, development, and delivery of jet propulsion systems to support the warfighter. Through the integration of additive manufacturing, the company aims to meet the growing and urgent needs for unmanned aerial defense by dramatically improving a jet engine’s speed to market, fuel efficiency, and cost.

Founded in 2020, the company is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, with additional facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, Loveland Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Englewood, Colorado facility.

Role Overview

As a key member of the Beehive Industries IT department, the IT Support Technician will work in close coordination with the IT Team in performing all activities associated with installing, supporting and maintaining a wide range of IT hardware, software and services. This position requires excellent hardware and software troubleshooting skills, general networking knowledge, ability to follow directions, and capability to be a self-starter. Experience in supporting an Engineering and Manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist users in resolving computer hardware and software issues
  • Ensure quick response times to facilitate maximumuptimefor all users and systems
  • T roubleshoot and report network issues to the Systems team Assist users with supported software and hardware with the approach of understanding of technology from a user’s perspective while providing an expert level of support
  • Act as a point of contact for Tier II escalated unknown/unsolved issues.
  • Discuss withusersbest practices for PC maintenance and performance.
  • Maintain, track, and control IT assets and inventory
  • Collaborate with co-workers to share expertise, information and solve problems
  • Document processes and best practices; assist in maintaining an up-to-date KB repository
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager

Requirements:

  • Five plus years of IT support experience in a corporate environment
  • Expert working knowledge of all Microsoft Windows & Office technologies (Windows10/11 as well as MS Office 365 Suite)
  • Expert working knowledge of Entra ID, Endpoint Management, Network fundamentals.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM/CFD software licensing, installation, and support
  • Various Mobile phone support including MDM, VoIP, and other telecommunication technologies
  • Create a high level of user satisfaction through accurate and timely follow-up & strong technical skills
  • Must demonstrate superior organization and time management skills
  • Ability to routinely lift 20-25lbsand occasionally lift and move 50+lbs
  • Education/Certifications: High School or equivalent required, Associate’s Degreeor higher preferred
  • A+, Net+, MSCA, and other IT related certificates are a plus

Preferred Qualifications: (any skill that could be a plus)

  • Working knowledge of Ansys, Autodesk, Siemens or Solidworks application
  • Experience implementing and administering automated PC imaging solution
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Room hardware

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $65,000-$109,000 base salary. Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
