Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking an IT Support Technician to ensure continuity of computer system services for our users. You will install software, repair hardware, and resolve technical problems, with responsibilities spanning onboarding/offboarding and remote office support as needed.

Qualified candidates have 1+ year in IT support, solid knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Office 365, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of IT support experience or active enrollment in a relevant degree program.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and mobile devices.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365.
• Excellent interpersonal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• End-User Support: field requests via ticketing system, email, phone, or in person.
• Troubleshoot, install, and upgrade end-user software and hardware.
• Provide one-on-one end-user training as needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot file sharing systems for external users.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding within scope of duties.
• Hardware & Software Management: image, configure, and set up desktops/laptops and peripherals.
• Coordinate shipping and reclamation of hardware to remote offices.
• Maintain documentation and storage of deployed hardware assets.
• Knowledge Management: create user-focused articles and share known solutions.
• Assist with company-wide software rollouts and tech upgrades.
• Provide on-site support at remote offices and outside regular hours as required.
