Qualifications

• 2+ years in Help Desk, Technical Support, Desktop Support, or IT Support roles.
• Experience with ticketing systems and customer service excellence.
• Familiarity with Windows OS, mobile devices, and printers; knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Intune.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user tech support and troubleshooting.
• Resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues with a strong customer focus.
• Manage and prioritize support tickets; escalate when needed.
• Support Windows workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding: accounts, permissions, devices, user training.
• Configure and support Microsoft 365 apps, Defender, and cloud collaboration tools.
• Deploy and manage devices with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
• Support Teams Rooms and AV tech; coordinate with vendors.

Salary: $50,000-$65,000 + 8% Bonus

Responsibilities of the IT Support Technician:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for end‑user technical support and troubleshooting across the organization.
• Resolve hardware, software, network, and system‑related issues while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Manage and prioritize support tickets to ensure timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
• Support Windows workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, tablets, and peripheral equipment.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including account creation, permissions, device deployment, and user training.
• Configure and support Microsoft 365 applications, Microsoft Defender, and cloud‑based collaboration tools.
• Deploy and manage hardware and software using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
• Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, conference room technology, and audio‑visual solutions while coordinating with external vendors.
• Provide backup support for manufacturing workstations, label printers, and production technology.
• Assist with Active Directory, Group Policy, file servers, and other core IT infrastructure technologies.
• Create, maintain, and improve technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and support processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives as the team builds and enhances IT standards and procedures.
• Participate in the department’s on‑call rotation to support critical business needs.

Preferred Experience of the IT Support Technician:

• Experience in Help Desk, Technical Support, Desktop Support, or IT Support roles.
• Experience working within a ticketing system environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical users.
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems, mobile devices, and printing technologies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Intune, and Microsoft Defender.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, file servers, and user administration.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including IP addressing, connectivity, and cabling.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Associate degree and 1-2 years of related experience, or equivalent professional experience.

Bonus Experience of the IT Support Technician:

• Experience with RMM solutions such as NinjaOne.
• Experience with patch management and automation initiatives.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience developing technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base content.
• Spanish language skills.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms and enterprise audio‑visual technologies.
