Job summary

Form Energy is seeking an IT Support Technician to be the first point of contact for the Weirton, WV location, supporting Windows/Mac devices and onboarding for new hires. The role will operate onsite in a 6:00am-2:30pm shift, while collaborating with a distributed IT team across the U.S.

You will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, manage user accounts, and maintain IT assets while delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience and 1+ years of IT experience.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask; a quick learner who is adaptable.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting onsite users.
• Experience with printer support.
• IT support/helpdesk experience with Windows in an AD environment; Mac experience is a plus.
• Experience with standard business applications, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Adobe Acrobat, 1Password.

Role Description

The Information Technology group at Form Energy collaborates closely and supports end users across the U.S. in four locations and with a distributed workforce of onsite, hybrid, and remote employees.

As an IT Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for our Weirton, WV location and work within a broader team to support projects and IT activities across the company. This will include day-to-day internal customer service and support for first-level issues, assisting end users with onboarding, set-up, service requests, and troubleshooting for a fleet of Windows/Mac devices and peripheral equipment. Maintaining hardware and software installation and configuration and analyzing and evaluating network connectivity-related issues. This role is onsite with a 6:00am-2:30pm shift.

Where you'll work:

This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV-an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA. This 550,000-square-foot facility is our hub for high-volume battery production and a leader in the new era of American energy manufacturing.
