Job description

Join Enclos as an IT Support Technician and play a key role in delivering top-tier technical support across our organization! This is a hands-on, customer-facing position based in our St. Louis, MO office.

Enclos is seeking a customer-focused Information Technology Support Technician to join our IT team. This individual will provide frontline technical support for mobile devices, computer systems, hardware, and software across our U.S. and Canadian offices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, technical acumen, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

This role will support multiple business entities including Enclos, ETS, and Coalition, and involves a mix of remote and in-person troubleshooting and technical assistance, device configuration and general IT support.

This is an in-person role based out of our office in St. Louis, MO.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical support for mobile devices (cell phones, iPads) and computers (hardware/software), including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide end user support via email, phone, chat (Microsoft Teams), and in-person interactions.
  • Set up and manage devices using enterprise mobility management systems such as AirWatch.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to computer systems, networks, software, and peripherals.
  • Perform installations and configurations of hardware, operating systems, applications, printers, scanners, and related equipment.
  • Assist with managing and tracking mobile devices, including updating inventory and following return/deployment procedures.
  • Offer basic training to users on the effective use of computer systems and mobile devices.
  • Collaborate with senior IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Participate in documentation of IT procedures and support guides.
  • Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures related to the use, deployment, and return of mobile devices and IT equipment.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or vocational/technical certificate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience in IT support).
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting Windows-based systems and computer hardware.
  • Experience or familiarity with mobile device management tools such as AirWatch or Microsoft Intune preferred.
  • Strong understanding of basic networking concepts and internet connectivity.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical instructions in layman's terms to non-technical users.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service, with patience and attentiveness in resolving issues.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple support requests.
  • A team player with a willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.

They must constantly reach with hands and arms; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel material. The employee will have frequent repetitive motions and frequently be able to lift or move 25 lbs. The employee has constant requirement of specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus. They must frequently wear eye protection (Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the company and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required).
