Flex is hiring in Libertyville, IL for a deskside IT support role. You will install and support desktop and laptop hardware and software, peripherals, and office printers, while maintaining PC assets and licenses.

You will configure mobile devices, provide first-line support, and collaborate with the Network Admin to troubleshoot connectivity issues. A strong imaging background and AD experience are expected.

Qualificações

• Advanced knowledge of imaging processes for deployment of PCs.

Summary

This role will be in charge of installing and helping desktop/laptop hardware and software, computers peripherals, office printers and maintain PC assets.

Schedule

Mon – Fri, 8AM to 5PM

Responsibilities

• Performs the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computer and related systems.
• Configure cellular phones for end users to meet corporate specifications
• Assists in determining suitable software to meet user requirements.
• Manage required supplies for printers (not to include paper).
• Install software, patches, and updates on desktops, laptops.
• Keep accurate tracking of all assets supported by Deskside.
• Maintains PC assets in both a physical and logical manner and maintain its accurate tracking.
• Provide 1st line technical support for end-user’s computers hardware and software, printers, and its network connectivity.
• Troubleshoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when they relate to personal (desktop or laptop) end-user’s computers.
• Assist Network Administrator/Analyst to troubleshoot end-users’ network-related issues.
• Interacts with vendors to facilitate repairs of hardware, i.e., printers, laptops, and desktops.

Qualifications

• An associate degree is preferred or equivalent experience and training.
• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of PC architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 and 11.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Mac OS, Android, and iOS.
• Advance knowledge of imaging processes used for deployment of PCs in standard environments.
• Demonstrates advanced technical skills, which may be, used to conduct on-the-job training and/guide other associates.
• Highly skilled with ability to move between shifts, products, and applications.
• Demonstrates advanced technologies as well as functional techniques and improves processes.
• Takes action and requires high degree of initiative to resolve problems and develop recommendations.
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer a plus.
• Contributes to and improves technical techniques and concepts. Resolutions may impact BU, Region, or corporate level.
• Acts singly to define methods and procedures on new assignments.
• May provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel.
