Givens Communities in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time IT Support Technician to provide remote and onsite help desk support for residents, staff, and the organization across our senior housing communities. You’ll diagnose hardware and software issues, deploy devices, and ensure reliable technology that keeps operations smooth.

This role requires strong customer service, clear communication, and dependable transportation.

Qualifications

• Verifiable knowledge of modern desktop computer hardware and software systems.
• Some combination of work and educational experience in desktop support is preferred (not required).
• Good customer service and communication skills are mandatory.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, schedule, and provide technology support for residents, staff, and communities.
• Monitor, document, and triage incoming help desk tickets.
• Participate in on-call rotation during nights and weekends.
• Train residents and staff on technology usage.
• Assist with deployment of hardware and software.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Givens Aldersgate is looking for a full-time IT Support Technician to join our Technology team! The primary purpose of this position is to provide remote and onsite technology help desk support to the business, healthcare, and residential members of all of our communities in a friendly and professional manner.

What you'll do:

• Evaluate, Schedule, and Provide technology support for Givens Communities residents
• Monitor, appropriately document, and triage incoming help desk tickets
• Participate and be available in Technology On Call rotation during scheduled nights and weekends
• Training residents and staff
• Assist with deployment of hardware and software
• Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

What you'll need:

• Must have a verifiable knowledge of modern desktop computer hardware and software systems
• Some combination of work and educational experience in desktop support is preferred
• Good customer service and communication skills are mandatory
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation: $22.00 to $24 per hour
