Job summary

Aegis Aerospace is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to support the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. You will provide hands-on IT support for end-user hardware, software, and network infrastructure to enable critical operations.

The ideal candidate has a TS/SCI clearance, at least 5 years of IT support experience, and the ability to work in a classified government environment while coordinating with vendors and government

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/IS or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT support experience.
• Must be a US Citizen; Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Hands-on experience with end-user computing devices, peripherals, and network-connected equipment.
• Ability to document issues and asset configurations accurately.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience operating in a classified DoD/government environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for end‑user hardware including laptops, printers, tablets, mobile devices, copiers, and peripherals.
• Support software applications (COTS, GOTS, web-based).
• Troubleshoot network infrastructure and connectivity issues.
• Support VoIP, VTC, audiovisual systems, wireless technologies.
• Schedule and coordinate desk-side software/hardware upgrades and break/fix activities.
• Configure and deploy new end-user equipment.
• Investigate and resolve connectivity issues.
• Coordinate on-site break/fix with vendors.
• Provide after-hours support when required.
• Maintain IT inventory and asset records.
• Inventory IT cabinets and infrastructure.
• Update equipment photos and drawings.
• Assist facility IT planning and requirements documentation.
• Recommend improvements to IT processes.
• Collaborate with government personnel, vendors to resolve IT needs.
• Support integration of C4, cyber capabilities into NAVWAR objectives as required.
