Job summary

Aegis Aerospace is seeking an IT Support Specialist to support the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role requires hands-on IT support for end-user devices, network infrastructure, VoIP, and VTC in a secure, classified government environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and at least 5 years of IT experience, US citizenship, and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years of IT support or related experience.
• US citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with end-user devices, networks, and VOIP/VTC.
• Ability to document issues and asset information accurately.
• Strong customer service, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate in a DoD/government classified environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for end-user hardware and peripherals.
• Support software applications (COTS, GOTS, web-based).
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, routers, switches and site infrastructure.
• Support VoIP, VTC, audiovisual systems and related tech.
• Schedule desk-side support for installations and upgrades.
• Configure and deploy new end-user equipment and peripherals.
• Investigate and resolve connectivity and device issues.
• Coordinate on-site break/fix with vendors and providers.
• Provide after-hours support when mission requires.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory information.
• Conduct regular inventories of IT cabinets and equipment.
• Document IT infrastructure changes and requirements for projects.
• Recommend improvements to support processes and tools.
