Job summary

BCIC Swiss GmbH is seeking an IT Support Specialist (Dispatch |on-site) to join their team in Switzerland. The role is on-site with 10–20 hours per week and focuses on first- and second-level support, ticketing, and routine hardware/software maintenance.

The candidate will handle Windows and Mac OS environments, basic networking, and collaborate with vendors to resolve issues, ensuring timely status updates and effective resolution.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in IT support and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with help desk ticketing systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office & Cisco Jabber.
• Support Apple Mac users with basic macOS knowledge.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS , Microsoft Office & Cisco Jabber authorized .
• Should have basic knowledge of the Mac operating system to support Apple PC users.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Performs remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid work permit in Switzerland
• Several years of experience in the IT field
