VAA LLC in Minnetonka, MN is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide first-line technical assistance to staff within a Microsoft 365 and Windows environment. You will respond to end-user questions, manage tickets, and help deploy hardware and software.

You will support Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint Online, and MFA, while assisting with onboarding, asset inventory, and IT projects in a collaborative, on-site office setting.

• Minimum of three years of professional IT experience.
• At least two years providing end-user support in a Microsoft 365 and Windows environment.
• Proficient with AD, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint Online.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.

Location: This is a full-time, on-site position in our Minnetonka, MN office, Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Our growing firm is seeking passionate problem-solvers who are driven to make a real impact. We're hiring an IT Support Specialist! The IT Support Specialist provides technical assistance and support related to VAA's environment by responding to end-user questions, monitoring day-to-day operations, isolating problems, and identifying and implementing solutions.

Your role:

• Provide first-level technical assistance to staff related to software programs and hardware, such as laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Document, track and respond to all support requests through the IT ticketing system, escalating complex issues to systems, network, or vendor resources as appropriate.
• Image, configure, deploy, and retire computers and devices, and install and upgrade hardware and software.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, equipment provisioning, new user orientation, and timely removal of access.
• Manage user accounts, groups and permissions in Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and other systems.
• Support device enrollment, compliance, and application deployment through Microsoft Intune.
• Apply operating system and software updates and security patches and support multi-factor authentication (MFA) and access-control practices.
• Support SharePoint Online sites and permissions.
• Monitor endpoints, alerts, and backups.
• Troubleshoot basic network and connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and wired connections.
• Support conference room and Microsoft Teams meeting technology.
• Train end-users, as needed, on hardware functionality and software programs.
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles and documentation for common issues and procedures.
• Help document and maintain an inventory of IT assets and software licenses.
• Participate in IT projects.

Your resume must include:

• Minimum of three years of professional IT experience, including at least two years providing end-user support in a Microsoft 365 and Windows environment

Starting Salary Range: $25.00 - $40.00 . A variety of factors are considered when determining an offer including, but not limited to, market data, geographic location, experience, and specialized skills.
