Job summary

Expeditors International is seeking an IT support professional to resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating vendor activities.

You will perform advanced troubleshooting, assist with system upgrades, and ensure compliance with security policies across the enterprise. Strong communication and multitasking are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Hardware management of branch hardware lifecycle including inventory and end-of-life decisions.
• Software troubleshooting, rollout of new software, data backup/storage security, and IT solutions.
• Developing and implementing operational solutions with cross-team collaboration.
• Windows 11 OS experience and PC troubleshooting; ability to build PCs preferred.
• PowerShell, Networking, TCP/IP, Cybersecurity, Cabling knowledge.
• Office, Exchange, SharePoint software familiarity and usage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and permanent fixes.
• Assist with system upgrades, deployments, and enterprise App configurations.
• Mentor junior technicians and coordinate vendor-related activities.
• Communicate status updates and guidance to stakeholders to drive resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and maintain audit-ready documentation.
