Job summary

Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement on James Island is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for team members and residents. This role requires 3–5 years of IT support experience and a passion for troubleshooting, customer service, and healthcare technology systems.

You will manage Windows environments, Active Directory, mobile devices, and nurse call/wander management systems while adhering to HIPAA and security standards, delivering reliable technology support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years professional IT support, desktop or help desk
• Experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft tech
• Hands-on Active Directory administration
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity
• Experience with a ticketing/help desk system
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1/2 help desk support and issue resolution
• Manage support tickets from intake to resolution
• Create/modify/maintain user accounts across systems
• Administer Active Directory including password resets
• Support company-issued mobile devices
• Configure and troubleshoot nurse call and wander management systems
• Coordinate vendor support and track issues to completion
• Support healthcare audio-visual equipment and tech
• Maintain IT hardware inventory and tracking
• Assist with access management and audits
• Follow HIPAA, security and compliance requirements
• Participate in IT projects and technology initiatives
