Job summary

Pinal County in Arizona seeks an IT Technician to install, modify, and repair computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices for the Information Technology Department, providing experienced technical support and diagnosis for system users.

You will diagnose issues, deploy software/hardware, maintain equipment, and ensure confidentiality while supporting County users. A minimum of 3 years in IT technical support is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3 years of IT technical support experience preferred.
• Experience with hardware, software, and peripheral diagnostics and repairs.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to users and document issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware and software for County users.
• Provide experienced technical assistance and training to system users and resolve problems.
• Interview users to collect information, guide through diagnostics, and identify source of issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of County information and support IT systems and equipment.
• Deploy software/hardware upgrades and maintain hardware, audio/visual equipment, and peripherals.
