Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an Intermediate Information Services Specialist to perform analytical, technical, and installation tasks on IU Health approved end-user devices. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues and collaborate with Networking, Servers, Database, Applications, and Vendors to restore services.

The role requires 2–4 years in Service Desk, basic IT concepts, and strong customer communication.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Bachelor's preferred.
2-4 years experience in Service Desk required.
A+ Certification preferred.
Understands basic concepts of Information Services.
Previous Phone support experience required.
Recommends experience working in a Network Operations Center.
Requires the ability to work any shift or day as needed by management.

Responsibilities

Install hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
Support thin clients, scanners, printers, MFD, Apple devices, and mobile devices.
Support Windows OS, Mac OS, Android, O365, and VDI.
Diagnose issues and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
Provide timely and effective end-user support and communicate with IT staff.
Document and update support tickets and manage asset tracking.
