Job summary

U.S. Army MWR is seeking an IT Customer Support Specialist for the DFMWR IT Office at Wheeler AAF, Hawaii. The role involves routine IT customer support, participating in hardware Deployment, and resolving IT issues on site.

You will train customers, configure systems, and support NIPRNET workstations, POS and Hospitality Management Systems while applying information security practices.

Qualifications

• IT knowledge and skill with planning and delivery of IT customer support services
• Ability to install, configure, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software
• Ability to present formal and informal training to customers
• Ability to report, respond to, and resolve customer requests

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform routine IT customer support assignments
• Participate in planning and deployment of lifecycle hardware; identify and resolve issues
• Prepare and update instructions and SOPs; support NIPRNET workstations, POS and Hospitality systems
• Provide information and assistance to customers including installations, configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting
• Deliver formal and informal training and ensure information security policy adherence
