North Way Christian Community is seeking a part-time IT Support Specialist (20 hrs/wk) for our multi-site church. The role triages tickets, troubleshoots hardware/software, and supports IT services to end users.
This position requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, with travel to various church locations. A minimum of 4 years in IT support is expected, plus proficiency in Microsoft 365/Azure, and relevant certifications are a plus.
North Way Christian Community is seeking a part-time (20 hrs/wk) IT Support Specialist for our multi-site church. This position will be a key member of our IT team responsible for providing top-tier support across all of our locations. This individual will triage incoming support tickets, troubleshoot issues with a variety of hardware and software platforms, and play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of IT services, ensuring high levels of customer service and technical support to end users.
This role will require flexible working hours including occasional nights and weekends, evenings, and holidays based on organizational needs and events. Travel to different church locations will be required.

Required qualifications for this position include:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support or help desk technician role
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure, and related cloud technologies and comfortable working or learning new SaaS products
Experience with ticketing systems and cybersecurity platforms
Familiarity with software, hardware and network troubleshooting
Deeply familiar with troubleshooting both Mac and PC based systems
Ability to work effectively with technical & non-technical users
Ability to obtain necessary clearances and background checks, and a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information
Preferred qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus
Experience working in a multi-location or decentralized organization setting
Experience in a church or nonprofit environment
Experience in IT training and creating educational content
Experience with security, camera, and door access systems is a plus
Cyber Security training or experience preferred
