About the Role
Radish Health is looking for an IT Support Specialist to help our team stay up and running. You'll be the go-to person when someone's laptop won't connect, an account needs setup, or a new tool needs to be rolled out. This role suits someone who's patient, explains things clearly, and doesn't mind being the person who fixes the printer.
What You'll Do
- Answer and resolve day-to-day IT requests from employees (hardware, software, network, and account issues)
- Support remote clinic staff with their IT needs, troubleshooting issues wherever they're located
- Help set up new clinics: provisioning hardware, setting up internet, and getting everything ready to go
- Manage our MDM (mobile device management) system to keep company devices secure and up to date
- Set up laptops, accounts, and tools for new hires, and handle offboarding when people leave
- Manage user accounts and access across our core systems (Google Workspace, etc.)
- Keep track of company devices and equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with Wi-Fi, printers, video conferencing, and other office tech
- Track and prioritize requests through our ticketing system, and know when to escalte urgent issues
- Write simple how-to guides so people can solve common problems on their own
- Work with outside vendors (internet, software providers, device suppliers) when needed
- Flag and help fix security issues, like weak passwords or outdated software
- Support IT projects, like rolling out a new tool or improving how we manage devices
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in an IT support or help desk role
- Comfortable troubleshooting both Mac and Windows computers
- Foundational IT knowledge, including operating systems, basic networking, and security basics
- Experience with MDM (mobile device management) tools
- Familiarity with Apple Business Manager for enrolling and managing company devices
- Experience with ticketing systems, tracking company equipment, and writing down IT processes so others can follow them
- Experience with common business tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are a plus, but hands-on experience counts just as much
- Good at explaining technical things in plain language to non-technical people
- Able to work on-site in New York, NY, juggle multiple priorities, and respond quickly when something urgent comes up
- Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Health, Dental and Vision Insurance
- 401(k) Retirement Plan
- Flexible Spending Accounts
