Job summary

Accra is seeking an IT Support Specialist to serve as the face of IT for internal AMG staff and deliver timely help with troubleshooting. You will diagnose hardware and software issues, support the Microsoft stack, and document incidents to improve operations.

This on-site role in Hopkins, MN offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development. Travel to other Minnesota offices may be required to support IT duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software, especially Microsoft stack.
• Experience with IT support and staying current with IT trends.
• Proficiency with FreshService or similar helpdesk software.
• Ability to document processes and monitor performance metrics.
• Willingness to travel to other Minnesota offices as needed.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
• Self-starter with initiative for problem solving and research.
• Experience in home health or healthcare IT is a plus.

About This Role

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the face of IT to our internal AMG staff as you provide IT assistance to them on a regular basis. Your ability to efficiently resolve technical issues will allow our staff members to do their work efficiently, ultimately impacting the success of Accra’s client focused mission. You will be expected to be adept at diagnosing and troubleshooting common technical problems and providing timely, accurate solutions to those you assist.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or related technology field is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, particularly the Microsoft technology stack.
• Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support.
• Proficiency with IT helpdesk software, such as FreshService.
• Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
• Ability and willingness to travel to other offices in Minnesota to perform IT related duties as needed.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills.
• Customer service and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously with regular interruptions while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high standard of professional courtesy, flexibility, confidentiality and discretion while working with other team members.
• Self-starter with ability to take initiative with problem solving and research skills.
• Experience working with a home health agency is a plus.
