Job summary

Urgo Medical North America is seeking an IT Support Specialist with a strong enterprise IT background to support SAP, SQL, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Snowflake, AD and Windows Server environments. You will help maintain critical systems, enable automation, and support end users across the organization.

The role requires SAP experience, Windows 11 and Office 365 proficiency, and a willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or a related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in Enterprise IT support or system administration roles.
• Proficiency with SQL, SAP, Windows Server, Windows 11, Azure, and Active Directory.
• Experience with Office 365 administration, Teams, SharePoint, and VoIP systems.
• SAP experience including SAP S/4HANA/ECC and SAP GRC modules is required.

Responsibilities

• ERP Support: assist with ERP/SAP implementation, support/train, automation, and integration with EDI.
• Automation & Process Improvement: develop automated solutions for IT/business ops.
• Database Management: run SQL queries, manage databases, and support cloud data solutions.
• User Management: provisioning, permissions, and management via Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365.
• IT Support & Troubleshooting: support end-users; resolve issues with Windows 11, Teams, VoIP, SharePoint, AV equipment.
• System Administration: maintain Windows Servers, Active Directory, Office 365, SQL Server, Power BI, Snowflake.
• Collaboration Tools: support Teams, SharePoint, VoIP and other communication tools.
• Documentation: maintain IT documentation and SOPs.
• Grow in a Global Team: assist URGO Global IT and follow published procedures.

Position Overview

The IT Support Specialist position requires a strong technical background and hands‑on experience with enterprise‑level systems, including SQL, ERP (SAP), Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Snowflake, Active Directory, and Windows Server environments. This role is crucial in supporting UMNA infrastructure, supporting users, and driving process automation initiatives.

• ERP Support: Assist with existing ERP and SAP Implementation, Support/Training, Automation, and Integration with EDI and other Business Platforms.
• Automation & Process Improvement: Develop and implement automated solutions to streamline IT/Business operations.
• Database Management: Perform SQL queries, manage databases, and support cloud data solutions.
• User Management: User provisioning, permissions, and management via Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365, Etc.
• IT Support & Troubleshooting: Support end-users, resolving issues related to Windows 11, Teams, VoIP, SharePoint, audio‑visual equipment, Etc.
• System Administration: Help maintain Windows Servers, Active Directory, Office 365, SQL Server, Power BI, and Snowflake environments.
• Collaboration Tools: Support Teams, SharePoint, VoIP, and other communication tools.
• Documentation: Maintain IT documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Grow in a Global Team: Assist Global URGO IT as needed and work within published procedures.

Competencies

• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with customers at all organizational levels and leaders in other regions. Possesses relationship skills with third party suppliers and customers.
• Good program & project management skills with the ability to prioritize activities effectively to execute multiple projects in parallel.
• Excellent problem‑solving and resolution skills.
• Scripting skills for automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Enterprise IT support or system administration roles.
• Proficiency with SQL, SAP, Windows Server, Windows 11, Azure, and Active Directory.
• Experience with Office 365 administration, Teams, SharePoint, and VoIP systems.
• SAP Experience Required

Proven experience with SAP ERP environments (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC) with focus on security and GRC.

Proven experience administering and managing SAP GRC modules (e.g., Access Control, Risk Analysis, Emergency Access Management)

Demonstrated ability to manage user access lifecycle (provisioning, deprovisioning, periodic reviews) within SAP

Experience supporting internal compliance and audits within SAP environments

Ability to partner with business and finance teams to align SAP controls with operational processes

Work Environment

• Indoors, in an office environment, with temperature control.
• No adverse environmental conditions expected.
• Up to 10% travel expected.

Physical Demands

Salary Description

$70,000 - $85,000 annually, bonus eligible
