Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide on-site desktop/laptop, network, and end-user support for our client in Childress, TX. The role includes handling phones, printers, and local networks at offices and job sites.

The position is a 6 month+ contract with potential extension or direct hire for the right candidate. Strong knowledge of networking, AD, SAN, virtualization, and DR is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 yrs + IT Support
• Experience with networking, Active Directory, Storage Area Network, virtualization, and Disaster Recovery procedures
• Experience with Cisco network equipment is a plus
• System Administration and support experience would be desired

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day desktop/laptop, cellular, telephone and local network support for offices and jobsites.
• Provide end-user support and problem resolution for desktops, printers and peripherals.
• Use the trouble-ticketing system to document work and communicate with clients.
• Handle implementation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, and usage monitoring of specialized systems.
• Assess jobsite IT needs, circuit ordering, equipment delivery and ongoing support throughout the life of the jobsite.

In this role, you will be working as an IT Support Specialist for a client that involved in electrical contracting / construction

• Responsiblefortheday-to-daydesktop/laptop,cellular,telephoneandlocalnetworksupportof assigned offices and jobsites.
• Provideend-usersupportandproblemresolutionfordesktopcomputers,laptop/notebook computers, printers and other peripheral hardware, and software applications.
• Utilizeourtrouble-ticketingsystemtodocumentyourworkandfacilitatecommunicationwithourclients.
