The Kendall Group, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Manager to lead the end user IT team and oversee the helpdesk, desktops, and networks. You will mentor staff, drive uptime, and deliver reliable IT services across divisions.

Reporting to IT leadership, you will manage tickets, inventory, and training, while upholding company values and a strong customer focus. This is a full-time on-site role in Montgomery County, PA.

Qualifications

  • 7 years end user technical support and helpdesk experience.
  • Undergraduate degree, certification, or equivalent work experience."
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office 365 products, Active Directory, Windows based PCs and laptops
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead the IT Support team responsible for managing, monitoring, installing, and maintaining computers and software.
  • Oversee end user IT support and improve user experience across the organization.
  • Respond to escalated tickets requiring complex problem solving and manage IT inventory.
  • Provide training to IT Support Technicians and mentor team members.
  • Travel if necessary and accept occasional weekends or off hours.

Role Summary

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the IT Support Manager is a key member of the Information Technology team. The IT Support Manager will lead the team responsible for managing, monitoring, installing, and maintaining computers, computer networks, and software and solving problems that may occur within them. Management responsibility for a team of IT Support Specialists.

What you’ll need
  • Work Experience: 7 years end user technical support and helpdesk experience
  • Education: Undergraduate degree, certification, or equivalent work experience
  • Analytics/Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office 365 products, Active Directory, Windows based PCs and laptops
  • Organization Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; ability to work in fast‑paced, continuously evolving, and at times ambiguous environment
  • Cross-functional skills: Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines; flexible and quickly adaptable to changing priorities; demonstrated problem solving skills; ability to handle a large volume of phone calls

Qualifications we prefer but don’t require
  • Work Experience: 2 years previous management experience
  • Education: Advanced degree or certification
  • Analytics/Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Intune, Cisco networking hardware, Cyber security principals and hardware/software inventory systems
