Job summary

Intermountain Health in Murray, UT is seeking an IT intern to support the Caregiver Field Services team. You will learn to deploy, support, maintain and troubleshoot computers and devices, gaining hands-on exposure to the department's operations.

Under supervision, you will document issue resolutions in the ITIL system, assist with projects, and learn security policies while contributing to a collaborative office environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong research, organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to teach users and explain concepts clearly.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn to resolve minor computer issues under supervision.
• Document notes and resolutions in ITIL ticketing system.
• Update staff on project and incident statuses.
• Respond to messages according to priority schedule.
• Support new and existing systems while learning technology changes.
• Assist in applying enterprise security policies under guidance.
• Participate in various projects to support department needs.
