Job summary

Amazon is hiring an IT Support Engineer I to implement technical solutions and provide high-quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software across sites in a defined geographic area.

You will troubleshoot straightforward issues without defined SOPs, manage local technical projects, and help optimize policies and processes while supporting global customers remotely. Regional travel will be required to assist customers efficiently.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment experience.
• 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience.
• 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
• 2+ years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP) experience.
• 2+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience.
• 2+ years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

About The Role

You are able to determine when it is appropriate to deviate from a standard practice to accomplish the desired result. You can troubleshoot and solve straightforward problems that do not have defined SOPs.
