Job summary

Sequoia, an established global partner helping investor-backed companies optimize people spend and drive business impact, seeks an IT Support Engineer. The role focuses on timely, quality technical support to Sequoia team members, with ticket handling, IT operations, and systems administration for a growing organization.

You will work on Windows and MacOS, manage Active Directory/Azure AD, oversee endpoint deployment, and support SaaS platforms like Okta, Microsoft 365, and Zoom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a technology field.
• 5 years of experience in an IT support role.
• Onsite presence, 5 days a week.
• Experience with endpoint management and deployment solutions.
• Experience with Active Directory and/or Azure AD administration.
• Experience with both Windows and MacOS platforms.
• Some experience with SaaS platforms such as Okta, Microsoft 365, Zoom, and more.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Integrity, passion for service, growth orientation, caring for others, and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Work the IT support queue and provide Tier 1 - 2 support to onsite and remote users.
• Own org-wide IT asset procurement, distribution, and logistics.
• Assist managing company spend for endpoints, hardware, and other equipment.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues with laptops, printers, smartphones, tablets, and IT hardware/software.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain software for Windows OS and MacOS.
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft 365 accounts and policies.
• Handle new hire deployments and laptop imaging/setup including network/email accounts.
• Provide SaaS telephony and mobile device configuration and troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge articles.
• Occasional travel between Bay Area and New York offices; potential weekend/holiday work.
