We are seeking an IT Support specialist to manage our company's IT operations and projects. This role focuses on computer operations, repair, user support, helpdesk services, and data management.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for personal computer hardware, software, and specialized mainframe technology, or operate a multi-platform, complex computer environment. Monitor production scheduling, execution, and successful completion of jobs.
- Set up and configure desktop computers, peripherals, and user accounts, assigning appropriate security levels.
- Install software, hardware, and peripherals; test programs and applications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, implement corrective actions, and escalate issues as needed.
- Serve as a technical resource within the team.
- Maintain, update, or create systems, databases, and web pages using front-end web tools within prescribed guidelines.
- Administer user accounts and permissions.
- Design and produce moderately complex reports.
- Research and recommend system upgrades; manage hardware inventory.
- Set up and submit production jobs, edit and debug computer outputs.
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance for computer equipment; diagnose hardware vs. software issues and escalate as necessary.
- Act as a liaison for computing operations, communicating and resolving technical problems.
- Develop and test user documentation.
- Coordinate with hardware vendors for equipment issues.
- Perform routine security checks; install and remove wiring and cables.
- Assist with complex technical projects and contribute to team goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT diploma.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with data processing, computer operations, and multi-operation systems or production control environments preferred.
- Knowledge of hardware, software, programming languages, and operating systems.
- Basic understanding of network protocols; experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Intune (Azure AD).
- Knowledge of asset and inventory management and procurement.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
