Memphis-Shelby County Schools seeks an IT Support Technician to provide first-level software and hardware assistance to end users across schools and central offices.
The role involves diagnosing problems with documented procedures, offering phone support, remote access, and on-site visits as required. Travel to school sites is expected, with opportunities to assist in network and device provisioning.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology, Information Systems Management or related field or Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field and two (2) years of computer science or equivalent, for a total education/experience of four (4) years. Must be able to travel to school sites and other locations using self provided reliable transportation. (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED).
Degree Equivalency Formula
Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience.
Master’s Degree= 2 years plus required years of experience. Where Master’s degrees are required, years for Bachelor’s Degrees must be included.
