Job summary

The Center for Inherited Blood Disorders (CIBD) is seeking an IT Support Analyst II to provide first-level technical support for end users, troubleshoot desktops, printers, and network issues, and assist with server and security tasks. This on-site role in California requires strong customer service and a solid foundation in Windows/Office 365 environments.

Ideal candidates have an Associate’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience) and at least 2 years in IT support,

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive IT support experience.
• 2+ years in Networking Fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• 2+ years of Windows desktop support (OS 10/11).
• 2+ years of Office 365 administration and support.
• 2+ years of Windows Server administration (2016-2022).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and network issues; provide first-level support.
• Maintain knowledge-base articles and track ticket trends for improvements.
• Oversee IT asset lifecycle, inventory, and secure data disposal at end-of-life.
• Support LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless connectivity; assist with network changes.
• Assist with Windows Server—AD, group policies, permissions, backups, patching.
• Onboard/offboard users; manage accounts and security policies.
• Coordinate cybersecurity awareness training and phishing simulations.
