Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking an IT Supervisor for the West Campus IT Clinical Applications team in Springfield. The role focuses on guiding IT staff, ensuring reliable IT services, and coordinating with vendors to meet department priorities.

The position emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and hands-on oversight of day-to-day IT operations within a healthcare environment. On-site work schedule supports standard business hours and a day shift.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years IT support or similar technical role; health care experience preferred.
• Experience leading teams, coordinating projects, and delivering customer support.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, guidance, and supervision to aligned IT team(s).
• Manage day-to-day operations of the aligned IT team and ensure smooth IT systems and services.
• Oversee user support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Assist in implementing IT policies and procedures, monitor system performance, and collaborate with the IT Manager on priorities.

Job Description:

The IT Supervisor is responsible for providing technical support, guidance, and supervision to aligned IT team(s). They assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the aligned IT team, ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems and services. The IT Supervisor oversees user support, troubleshoots technical issues, and coordinates with vendors as necessary. They also assist in implementing IT policies and procedures, monitoring system performance, and collaborating with the IT Manager to execute IT priorities.

Education

• Preferred: Associate's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Experience

• Required: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role, or healthccare related experience. Prior experience in team leadership, project coordination, and customer support is preferred OR Associate's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Skills

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.


• Proficiency in IT project management methodologies and tools.


• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
