Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking an IT Systems Analyst to design, test, implement, and troubleshoot IT applications across clinical systems at the West Campus in Springfield. The role focuses on ensuring availability, stability, and reliability of these applications, with end-user support and collaboration across IT teams.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of healthcare IT experience, familiarity with clinical workflows, and an Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in healthcare clinical workflows and/or IT support.
• Experience with nursing, provider, or ancillary department technologies is preferred.
• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, implement and troubleshoot IT applications to ensure availability, stability and reliability of clinical systems.
• Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues to keep clinical applications running smoothly.
• Provide end-user technical support and collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex problems related to clinical systems.

Job Description

The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and troubleshooting IT applications and for ensuring the availability, stability, and reliability of those applications. They monitor system performance, identify, and resolve technical issues, and ensure efficient operation of all clinical systems. The analyst also provides technical support to end-users and collaborates with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems related to clinical systems.

Education

• Preferred: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience

• Required: 2 years of experience in healthcare clinical workflows and/or IT support, including experience with nursing, provider, or ancillary department technologies OR Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field.

Skills

• Basic understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows
• Basic knowledge of inter-related solutions and IT systems knowledge with the aligned application domain. Develops and maintains knowledge of related IT systems as well as supporting business and IT domains.
