Job summary

CenterPoint Energy is seeking an IT Intern to support analysts, administrators, engineers, and leaders across IT focus areas such as Cloud, Infrastructure, AI, Data & Analytics, and Web & Mobile. You will assist on projects, compile completion data, and present findings to stakeholders.

Ideal candidates are enrolled full-time in an IT bachelor's program with a 3.0 GPA, have basic hardware/os/networking knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's IT program.
• GPA minimum 3.0 required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems and networking.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and productivity tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with others.

Education Description

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing Bachelor's degree in an IT field from an accredited college or university
• 3.0 GPA minimum

Experience
