Job summary

Duke Energy is offering an Information Technology Summer Internship in Charlotte, NC. Interns will gain exposure to software engineering, data analytics, AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure and cloud engineering within Enterprise Technology and Security.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in IT/Engineering programs with a 2.75+ GPA and must not graduate before August 2027. The program runs 10–12 weeks, with a hybrid work model and opportunities for site visits.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's IT/engineering degree.
• Cumulative GPA 2.75 or higher.
• Must not graduate before August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Gain on-the-job experience across software engineering, data analytics, AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure and cloud engineering.
• Attend site visits, information sessions and networking events with senior leadership.
