Gary Community School Corporation in Gary, Indiana is seeking a candidate responsible for the design, installation, implementation, and management of the district-wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN). Responsibilities include maintaining an interactive delivery system for faculty, providing school-based support, and ensuring compliance with district standards.
The successful candidate will be enrolled in High School or College, with technical skills in networking and systems, able to commute to various schools. The role offers an opportunity to develop essential IT skills in a supportive educational environment.
Responsible for the design, installation, implementation and management of the district-wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN). Maintain an interactive delivery system for all faculty members throughout the district. Develop, implement and coordinate guidelines for use of computer equipment. Work closely with vendors and school facilities to ensure that automation and network protocol configurations are in place.
