Job summary

Kemper is seeking an IT Planning and Delivery Lead to coordinate strategic IT planning, roadmaps, and governance, partnering with business and technology leaders to align initiatives with organizational objectives.

You will oversee demand management, capacity planning, budgets, and forecasts, while monitoring delivery commitments, risks, and metrics to ensure successful outcomes. The role is based at Kemper offices with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in IT planning, technology management, or related tech functions.
• 3+ years in demand management, strategic planning, or resource management.
• 2+ years supervising or mentoring team members.
• Knowledge of capacity planning, roadmaps, financial management, and governance processes.
• Experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies and performance reporting.
• This role does not include sponsorship and requires office-based work at Kemper.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT strategic planning, maintain technology roadmaps, and align initiatives with business priorities, investments, and objectives.
• Oversee demand intake, evaluation, prioritization, and governance processes to align with resources.
• Coordinate resource capacity planning, budgets, and forecasts to support prioritization and allocation.
• Monitor delivery milestones, risks, dependencies, and performance metrics with leadership reporting.
• Partner with business and technology leaders, support planning standards, and drive Agile improvements.
