Job summary

Herzing University in Milwaukee seeks a Director of IT, Business Analysis & Project Management to mature IT PM and BA practices and lead the demand management process across the portfolio.

The role reports to the VP of Strategic Execution, manages BAs and PMs, partners with IT leadership and vendors, and drives governance, scheduling, risk management, and executive reporting to support institutional priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, Project Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project management and business analysis.
• 5+ years of people leadership managing project managers or business analysts.
• Experience with demand management, portfolio planning, executive reporting.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate with senior leaders.
• Experience with risk, compliance, and documentation discipline.
• Experience partnering with vendors and technical teams to deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and mature IT PM and BA standards across the portfolio.
• Provide leadership and performance management for Business Analysts and Project Managers.
• Partner with IT Directors, Solutions Architect, and delivery leads to align schedules and handoffs.
• Ensure initiatives follow IT project lifecycle, governance gates, and escalation processes.
• Oversee scope, schedules, risks, and resource constraints across initiatives.
• Establish portfolio management practices and track ROI realization.
