Job summary

Kura Oncology seeks an experienced IT leader to shape and execute the company’s IT strategy, manage the IT portfolio, and drive transformative initiatives. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will guide change management, security programs, and budget planning in a fast-paced biopharma environment.

You will collaborate with business units and system owners to deliver value, ensure compliance for regulated processes, and lead a team of IT professionals to enable enterprise-wide digital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or business discipline.
• 8–10 years IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in management.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise IT strategies that drive business value.
• Strong security practices knowledge for mid-size enterprises.
• Experience with portfolio management tools and governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication with C-level executives, board members, and diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop IT strategy and portfolio management in partnership with the Head of IT.
• Drive AI governance and enablement across the organization.
• Lead change management and IT communications.
• Oversee IT budgeting, forecasting, and ROI optimization.
• Ensure IT systems meet GxP or regulated processes with validation.
