Job summary

Kura Oncology, a leading biotech company in California, seeks a senior Quality Assurance leader to drive GxP programs across clinical development and commercial operations. This role requires strategic oversight, risk-based management, and collaboration with external vendors.

Ideal candidates have extensive regulatory experience, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in inspections readiness and executive-level alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Life Sciences discipline or equivalent.
• A minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in a regulated biotech, or pharmaceutical industry in a Quality Assurance function.
• Experience with NDA filings, MAAs, commercial launches, and post-approval submissions.
• Experience developing and maintaining GxP Quality Systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Quality Unit responsible for GCP, GLP, cGMP, GVP, and CSV.
• Develops, implements, and manages the Quality System to support clinical development and commercial operations.
• Oversees quality lifecycle of commercial products including complaints, investigations, recalls, and product integrity.
