Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Recruiter Trainee to start with an extensive training program and become a Recruiter responsible for sourcing IT consultants and guiding them through the full recruiting cycle.

You will build relationships, coach talent on market trends and interviewing techniques, and use AI-enabled tools to identify top candidates and advise clients on hiring decisions. This role offers strong earning potential and a path to advanced recruiting roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Military experience OR Associates Degree and at least 3 years of full-time professional experience OR 4 years of full-time professional experience in a customer facing role
• Excellent written and oral communication skills that are leveraged to seek out others’ perspectives by asking good questions
• An eagerness to learn with enthusiasm to experiment to find best possible solutions

Responsibilities

• Recruit top IT consultants and serve as the main point of contact throughout the recruiting cycle
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants and provide career coaching
• Develop sourcing strategies leveraging various tools and AI, increasing ability to identify best talent
• Use AI-generated insights to make data-driven decisions throughout recruitment
• Advise account managers and clients on skill-set availability, labor rates, and timelines for onboarding talent
• Negotiate compensation packages to attract candidates for clients’ needs
• Demonstrate specialized knowledge within aligned skill/industry/role specialization
