- Job Summary: The Senior Software Engineer aims to improve user experience by implementing and enhancing complex, enterprise-wide applications or projects. Responsibilities include application build, configuration management, writing technical specifications, testing, and managing solutions on-premise or in the cloud.
- The Senior Software Engineer acts as a subject matter expert, leading documentation efforts and transitioning operational support to technical analysts.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement and manage automation solutions for pharmacy applications.
- Collaborate with staff to identify automation opportunities.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to automated systems.
- Train staff on automation tools and best practices.
- Monitor system performance.
- Analyze business processes for improvement and develop technical specifications.
- Lead and participate in agile development processes.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy DevOps solutions.
- Document solutions clearly and effectively communicate technical concepts.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and resolve issues.
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met.
- Mentor junior team members and conduct training sessions.
- Support deployments and troubleshoot production issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a senior healthcare IT environment.
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
- Knowledge of pharmacy 3rd party applications with a focus on automation.
- Experience with agile methodologies, business process analysis, and DevOps.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project lifecycle management.

$46.96 - $68.10 /hour
