Job summary

TEAM Services Group is seeking an IT Senior Manager, Security Operations to lead day-to-day security operations across incident response, IAM, threat detection and vulnerability management for TEAM’s operations in California.

You will coordinate with Cyber Security leadership, enterprise IT, engineering, and business units to strengthen detection and response capabilities and drive proactive risk mitigation in a multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations.
• Hands-on experience in incident response, IAM operations, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
• Experience operating and optimizing enterprise security tools and platforms.
• Strong communication and coordination during high-severity incidents and in distributed environments; familiarity with HIPAA/NIST/SOC 2; CISSP/CISM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead security operations across monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and remediation, acting as incident commander during security events.
• Own and enhance IAM operations including identity platforms, provisioning/deprovisioning automation, RBAC, least-privilege controls.
• Run the enterprise vulnerability management program, overseeing scanning, risk prioritization, remediation coordination, and cross-functional efforts.
• Analyze alerts, incidents, and threat intelligence to identify risks and strengthen detection across identity, endpoint, and cloud environments.
• Establish and improve security operations processes, runbooks, metrics, reporting, and automation with cross-functional teams.

The Role:

The IT Senior Manager, Security Operations leads the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of TEAM’s security operations capabilities across incident response, identity and access management (IAM), threat detection, and vulnerability management. Reporting to the Vice President of IT and partnering closely with Cyber Security leadership, this role operationalizes enterprise security strategy, strengthens detection and response capabilities, and drives proactive risk mitigation across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead security operations across monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and remediation, serving as incident commander during security events and coordinating containment and recovery efforts.
• Own and enhance enterprise identity and access management operations, including identity platforms, provisioning and deprovisioning automation, RBAC, least-privilege controls, and identity lifecycle management.
• Operate the enterprise vulnerability management program, overseeing scanning, risk prioritization, remediation coordination, and cross-functional efforts to reduce security exposure.
• Analyze alerts, incidents, and threat intelligence to identify emerging risks and strengthen proactive detection capabilities across identity, endpoint, and cloud environments.
• Establish and continuously improve security operations processes, runbooks, metrics, reporting, and automation while partnering across IT, Engineering, Cyber Security, and business teams.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 6–8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations
• Strong hands-on experience in incident response, IAM operations, threat detection, and vulnerability management
• Experience operating and optimizing enterprise security tools and platforms
• Strong communication and coordination skills, especially during high-severity incidents
• Experience in multi-site, multi-brand, or distributed environments preferred
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as HIPAA, NIST, or SOC 2
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM preferred

The expected California Pay Range for this position:
