Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions is seeking an IT Specialist to provide hands-on support for manufacturing floor systems, office workstations, and related IT equipment at our Jackson, TN facility. The role involves diagnosing connectivity issues, maintaining devices, and enforcing security practices to protect digital assets.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in IT support, an associate's degree in IT or related field, and strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in help desk or IT support.
• Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on technical support for manufacturing floor systems, office workstations, software applications, and network connectivity issues.
• Set-up, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, barcode scanners, printers, and other IT equipment used in production and administrative areas.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity and networking problems, including production-related hardware.
• Monitor cyber security operations of the plant and enforce security protocols to safeguard digital assets.
• Develop and update internal documentation for IT systems, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support the integration of new technologies and equipment.
