Job summary

Central Valley Meat Co. seeks an IT Specialist to ensure stable operation of in-house Microsoft infrastructures, including planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, and securing Windows servers with emphasis on RDS, IIS, SQL, Exchange, and backup systems.

Responsibilities include managing servers, monitoring queues, providing escalated end-user support for phones and conferencing, documenting procedures, and traveling between locations to support staff.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent education or experience required.
• A+ certification desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and basic networking.
• Experience with SQL, Exchange, IIS and related technologies desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage servers including email, print, database, RDS, IIS, and backup servers and their operating systems.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware and software.
• Monitor email and ticket queues; escalate and communicate status to team.
• Document functions and procedures; provide escalated end-user support for phones and conferencing.
• Travel between locations to support staff and customers as needed.

Job descriptionSummaryThe IT Specialists role is to ensure the stable operation of all in-house Microsoft infrastructures. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, securing, updating and optimizing all hardware with the Windows O/S installed. Responsible for escalated end user hardware and software support issues, and support staff training where required.ResponsibilitiesManage servers, including, but not limited to, e-mail, print, database, RDS, IIS, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software.Aid in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server hardware and software.Monitor email and ticketing queues for proactive self-assignment of tasks and respond in the appropriate manner (phone, email, in person).
