NAVAIR is seeking a full-time, onsite cybersecurity professional at China Lake, CA to support secure operation, maintenance, and accreditation of information systems in Windows and Linux environments.

You will configure and sustain systems, manage user access, apply security patches, and assist with A&A documentation, incident reporting, and security awareness training. Collaboration with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Visio is expected.

Formación

• Experience securing, maintaining, and accrediting information systems.
• Hands-on admin for Windows and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) documentation and incident reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Support the secure operation, maintenance, and accreditation of organizational information systems.
• Configure and sustain Windows and Linux systems.
• Manage user accounts, access privileges, software installations, security patching, and system updates.
• Troubleshoot issues across desktop, network, VM, and hardware/software components.
• Support cybersecurity risk and physical-security assessments.
• Support security awareness training.
• Support incident reporting and compliance monitoring.
• Develop and maintain A&A documentation.
• Assist with network routers, switches, databases, mobile technologies, and collaboration tools including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Visio.

This onsite position at China Lake, CA supports critical cybersecurity and compliance activities across Windows and Linux environments, with collaboration using common enterprise tools such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Visio. The salary range for this position is USD 71,957 - 135,657 per year.
