Job Description
The
IT Specialist will be responsible for overseeing, supporting, and maintaining the IT infrastructure across the United States to ensure secure, stable, and efficient operations. In this role, you will lead the execution of IT infrastructure projects for new sites, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget, while managing vendor relationships and contributing to the region’s digital transformation. This position requires deep technical expertise in IT infrastructure, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead IT infrastructure projects for new sites across the United States, ensuring delivery on scope, timeline, and budget.
- Support the opening, relocation, and transformation of offices and boutiques from planning through deployment, aligning with business objectives.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments, external partners, and IT team members to ensure seamless project execution.
- Estimate workloads, manage project timelines and milestones, control budgets, and propose implementation plans.
- Represent the IT Infrastructure team in cross-functional and interdisciplinary initiatives.
- Contribute to the design and evolution of IT infrastructure concepts to meet operational and strategic needs.
- Oversee the maintenance of IT systems, including server rooms, telephony, and infrastructure components.
- Provide technical support during corporate events and special initiatives.
- Assist with onboarding and training new hires to ensure smooth integration into IT systems and processes.
Technology Evolution:
- Contribute to the evaluation and selection of technologies to enhance infrastructure performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to continuously improve infrastructure standards, tools, and operational processes.
- Drive the integration of innovative solutions that deliver measurable value to the business.
Administration:
- Propose, implement, and continuously improve IT infrastructure processes and standards to support operational excellence.
- Coordinate support and activities with external IT partners across multiple locations to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Maintain and enhance IT documentation, knowledge bases, and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing and continuity.
Vendor Management:
- Support vendor selection processes and contribute to contract negotiations.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with vendors across the United States.
- Monitor vendor performance through SLAs, KPIs, and user satisfaction metrics such as NPS.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs) negotiated with vendors.
Cybersecurity:
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, industry regulations, and data protection laws applicable within the United States.
- Promote and enforce cybersecurity awareness among internal users and external partners.
- Support the implementation of security controls and remediation plans to mitigate risks.
- Foster adherence to security best practices across all infrastructure and operational activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field required.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of working experience (preferably within luxury retail or hospitality)
- Ability to travel 30% of the time within the United States.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across departments and geographies.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, customer-focused environment undergoing transformation.
- Adaptable and flexible in response to evolving business needs and priorities.

Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems administration, networking, security, telephony, and data storage technologies.
- Solution-oriented and strongly customer-focused; ability to understand business needs.
- Proven track record of delivering successful projects using recognized project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with audiovisual systems, particularly in retail environments.
- Proficient in IT operations platforms, including ticketing systems, CMDB, and ITAM.
- Certified in ITIL v4, and certified in project management preferred.
Additional Information
Audemars Piguet offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits package. The salary range for this position is $85k - $95k annually. This role is eligible for bonus. Salary will be based on relevant skills and experience.
