Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions is seeking an IT SOX Manager to lead the IT SOX program, including control assessments, testing, documentation, and remediation. You will collaborate with IT, Accounting, Internal Audit, and external auditors to ensure in-scope systems support effective internal controls over financial reporting.

You will own end-to-end IT audit activities, maintain SOX documentation, and drive remediation with control owners while reporting to IT leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience with SOX ITGC testing and IT audits.
• Familiarity with COSO framework and ICFR.
• Strong knowledge of IT controls supporting financial reporting.
• Ability to collaborate across IT, accounting, audit, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT SOX program scoping, planning, walkthroughs, testing, and reporting.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls and application controls.
• Perform end-to-end IT audit activities including risk assessment and testing.
• Maintain SOX documentation: matrices, narratives, flowcharts, working papers.
• Coordinate with control owners, collect evidence, resolve issues, and track remediation.
• Identify control gaps and propose practical improvements of IT controls.
• Prepare SOX status dashboards and reports for IT leadership.
• Support internal and external auditors with documentation and walkthroughs.
• Develop training on SOX responsibilities and control requirements.
• Contribute to program maturity and continuous improvement initiatives.
