The IT Procurement Manager will partner closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and Accounts Payable to drive cost optimization, contract compliance, and operational efficiency, while maintaining disciplined controls over purchase orders, invoicing, renewals, and vendor performance. Success in this role requires a strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution, and strong process ownership.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
  • Develop and execute IT sourcing and category strategies across software, hardware, SaaS, maintenance, and professional services to align with business and technology roadmaps.
  • Lead negotiations of complex contracts including MSAs, SaaS agreements, SLAs, Licensing Agreements, and Statements of Work, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Identify cost optimization, consolidation, and standardization opportunities across the IT vendor portfolio.
  • Monitor market trends, licensing models, and supplier performance to proactively manage risk and value.
  • Adapt sourcing strategies and procurement approaches in response to changing business priorities, technology roadmaps, and market conditions.
  • Navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions with evolving requirements, timelines, and stakeholder needs.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Partner with IT leadership to forecast demand, support technology initiatives, and align procurement strategies with enterprise priorities.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and AP to ensure contracts, purchase orders, and invoices are properly structured and compliant.
  • Act as the primary procurement point of contact for IT‑related agreements and supplier interactions.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to drive alignment of business requirements for sourcing projects within compressed timelines.
IT Procurement Operations & Governance
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for IT agreements, including oversight of requisitions, purchase orders, invoicing, renewals, and contract tracking.
  • Oversee submission of PO requests for IT‑related agreements through the NA Requisition Team, ensuring accurate setup and coding.
  • Collaborate across business unit and procurement to ensure purchase orders are created, received, and maintained accurately in Oracle in a timely manner.
  • Oversee submission of IT‑related invoices to Accounts Payable, ensuring invoices match POs and contractual terms.
Contract & Renewal Management
  • Maintain IT agreements and maintenance contracts within the designated tracking tools (e.g., SmartSheet).
  • Facilitate, manage, and own GES IT agreements within contract management system.
  • Proactively monitor contract expiration dates and lead renewal planning, including:
    • Partnering with contract owners to align on renewal strategy
    • Collaborate across procurement to develop and execute best-in-class negotiation strategies.
    • Submitting renewal PO requests using prior PO references, where applicable
  • Lead monthly IT maintenance contract review meetings to ensure visibility, accountability, and continuity of services.
Reporting & Controls
  • Take ownership of month‑end PO reporting for IT‑related purchases.
  • Establish and track KPIs related to IT spend, contract compliance, renewals, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, audit requirements, and internal controls.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with direct experience supporting IT or technology‑related categories.
  • Strong understanding of IT contracting models, including software licensing, SaaS, maintenance, and professional services.
  • Experience working within ERP, procurement, and contract lifecycle management systems.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to balance long‑term value creation and day‑to‑day execution.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and process discipline in managing POs, invoices, and contracts.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
